sad. part II.

I have been procrastinating in writing this post because I've been in such denial about it... but I have to come to terms with the fact that Kerry and Rob are moving to North Carolina tomorrow. I am heartbroken. I feel like that little girl whose best friend moves away. Kerry and Rob mean so much to us, as couples and individually. Kerry was the one who convinced Ryan to talk to me right before started dating! We have been through SO MUCH together, from breakups to being in each other's weddings, from planned trips to surprise trips, from special dinners to meeting for coffee after work, from walks together at work with the kids at the daycare to walks together at work with the kids we nanny for, from talking forever about what we'd do as moms to actually BECOMING moms (one of us anyway, ha)..... I could go on and on and on. I can't even say how blessed we are to have them in our lives. I am going to post about a million pics, but I don't care! I had to pick and choose from SO MANY, this is a fraction of them!


Kerry, I can't even tell you what you mean to me. I really don't have any more words. I love you!

AI Liiiiiiive

Kerry and I had our annual American Idol outing last night! I have to say, we were definitely not as lucky as we were last year, meeting THE American Idol and such, but it was still fun. I was a little disappointed with the show... it was actually a little boring, at the beginning at least. They had each of the top ten, starting with #10 and counting down, perform individually, and they performed three songs each! It was just a little much. We didn't get to meet anyone, even though we staked out the tour buses like an hour beforehand, and we got yelled at by security because we stopped walking for seriously a SECOND to wait to cross the street! I guess he thought we were up to no good and were going to go and kidnap David Archuleta or something. I had a hard time through the whole show, too, knowing that this was going to be the last big thing Kerry and I would get to do before she moves ON FRIDAY. Yes, my best friend is moving away. To North Carolina. Less than two weeks after one of my other closest friends moves thousands of miles away. BLAH!!!! Oh and I was SO upset because my camera batteries died right before the two Davids came on... so no pics of them! We were so close, too... we had pretty decent seats on the floor. Despite everything, it really was an amazing show. David Cook was INCREDIBLE, and the end was actually pretty awesome.

I am trying to have a good attitude about this... but I can't help but be beyond sad. Alyssa and Jason are moving to Arizona tomorrow. They have become some of our very closest friends, and Ryan and I are going to miss them terribly. Alyssa and I were looking through my pictures the other night... boy do we like to break the camera out when we are together! Alyssa and I met when we worked at P4K, I will never forget the first day we worked together! And the rest is history...

I can't even begin to recount all of the memories we have together, as couples and with just Alyssa and me. I know there will be many more fun times together, but I do love looking back (as Alyssa would say, "um, we aren't DYING!"). Ohhh I am trying so hard not to be mushy for her sake! We love you guys and are so excited for you to start this new chapter in your lives.

The concert last night was so fun. It was the most perfect thing for my mom, sister, and I to do together. We have loved Martina for years. She is positively one of the most incredible singers, no kidding. We had a blast singing along with every single song and trying to avoid the dancing queen that was sitting right next to me, ha. I tried 3 times to upload a video too, but it's not working, boo.

I can't control that boy....

I thought I'd post a little something, to show I'm still alive and all. Things have been uneventful lately. We spent yesterday with my fam and had so much fun!


I just thought I'd mention...
