I have a secret. One that I can't keep anymore. I wanted to keep it longer, but I had to buy new, bigger-in-certain-places jeans today (ALREADY) and I am just about to burst (literally and figuratively)....






I am pregnant!!!!!






I'm 10 weeks along... so close yet so far! I am a bundle of nerves and sick with excitement. This has been a long time coming for us, and I was very hesitant to share this type of stuff on my blog, but I did find some wonderful friends through my blog who have been such a support and encouragement (and you know who you are). We are still in disbelief, but so confident that God really has chosen to bless us in this way in His timing. It is so obvious that this is the right time and the blessings have been almost overwhelming. Thank you all for your prayers and support.

I am up too late tonight (as usual) but tonight is a little different because I am sifting through comments MY WONDERFUL OLD/NEW FRIENDS LEFT ME FOR MY BIRFDAY! I love it. I never thought I would get more than 16 comments on one post! I rule!!! I was checking my google reader today at work on my phone and I saw someone had posted a happy birthday to me post, and I thought "Wow, so nice!" but then I realized that it was posted by ME... and I was crying so hard when I read it I had to run into the bathroom to avoid being seen!!! Thank you all for your sweet comments and tangents that helped achieve Ryan's goal. So fun. Oh, and we are headed to UT/AZ in just about three weeks and one day... but who's counting? I'm not really that excited, and I don't know anyone else that would be.....!!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ASHLEY!!

My beautiful bride is 25 today!!! For some reason, she has to work on her birthday and I don't, so I thought I could at least post a little blog here. I wish I had some pictures of her through the years, but don't really have any old ones. So...here are a few of Ash over the past 5 years. (I snuck into a few of them because I noticed we don't have many of her alone.)

Oh yeah, and since I didn't get picture posting clearance on all of these first, she may kill me, which would make this my first and only blog post. But hey, here we go...














Let's see if we can get her somewhere around 37 comments before I get caught tampering with her blog.

Got back from Nantucket this past weekend... I went with the family I work for. Year #4! Started out with two kids the first year, now we're up to four... hope there's not a trend forming here!

We have basement progress! Ryan has been working so hard the past few months. He tore out all of the old drywall, put up new framing and re-drywalled (not sure if that's a word), and totally redid the bathroom. My parents came out last weekend and helped us a lot, too. There is still so much to do... but I have to say it looks a million times better (not to mention smells better). For your viewing pleasure...
