UT/AZ trip part 1: phew, they're not psychos!

OKAY. I am sitting down to at least attempt a post. Slacker I am. I feel like this trip was ages ago! So here's part one at least...

We had THE.BEST.TIME. with Ammon, Lindsey, and Porter in Utah. We only planned to stay about two days, and it was not even close to being enough time. It was funny how we all felt like we had known each other forever... no awkwardness whatsoever. We did a bit of Salt Lake, Park City, shopping, Settlers... we got a lot in in a day and a half. I felt so bad that we didn't really have any time to meet & greet with all of my other Utah friends... don't hate me! Next time for sure, and I am certain there will be a next time.

I don't even know where to begin on this one... "ohh dat's big!" Poor guy, he had a hard night that night!

4 years, 12 weeks, 10 hours

So much going on, so much excitement. First of all, we are celebrating our 4th anniversary on Thursday! I can not believe it. I am in awe of how much more I love Ryan now than even when we got married, I can't even imagine how it will be in 4 or 40 more!


Secondly, I had my 12 week appointment today and we heard a HEARTBEAT! Need I say more?


Thirdly, we are off to Utah and Arizona in about 10 hours! Do you think I have packed even a little yet? If you know me you know what the answer is. We will be in UT with awesome, hopefully not psycho killer friends in a matter of hours! Then in AZ we will FINALLY meet and spend some time with a beautiful new friend and SPEND 4 DAYS WITH SOME OF OUR BEST FRIENDS IN THE WHOLE WORLD! See yaaa!

girls' weekend

Last weekend a few of us roadtripped it to Virginia to visit Beth and have a girls getaway. The clincher is that 4 out of 5 of us are pregnant! We had so much fun getting manis/pedis, shopping (for maternity stuff of course), and eating (mostly cheese, bah ha). We took on a night on the town in Georgetown and of course got our yearly Ikea fix! Such a needed trip, but 3 pregos on a 6+ hour car ride... let's just say the ride home was reallllly long...
