Little(ish) Grace Makenah Keller decided to make her appearance on January 14 at 8:16 pm. She was 8 lb 8 oz! Pretty big considering that she was a little early and born to a tiny momma! I was lucky enough to see Gracie soon after she was born and we've visited a few times since. Love that sweet girl so much! Her parents aren't too bad either.


Brynlee was being a stinker!

I love that Gracie and Brynlee are only 9 months apart and will be able to grow up together... I also love being able to now share the bond of motherhood with one of my very best friends.

and she's off!

In a matter of pretty much a week Brynnie started to crawl, started to pull up on things, and started cruising along the furniture. I feel like I blinked and she is suddenly doing all these new things. She can stand on her own too, but isn't really confident enough yet so she reaches out for me right away or just sits down.

I am also so excited to report that at Brynlee's 9 month doctor's appointment she was cleared to try dairy... and it's going great! She loves yogurt and cheese... we have also tried eggs and a little meat here and there. She loves eating big girl food and is kind of over the purees... I already feel like I need to trick her into eating veggies. I'm in for it!

Baby fever, baby ear infection, and baby barf... not so much. Poor girl!

happy birthday my love!

Today is Ryan's 28th birthday! He celebrated by working all day, coming home for lunch to see his girls (the littler of the two with a fever... sad), and going out to dinner with me! Here we are on our hot date (pic taken with my phone)...We even made a few stops at Target and Wegmans... party animals I tell ya.

I love you baby! Hope you had a great day... try not to think about the fact that you are only TWO years away from 30... tee hee.

happy new year

Rather than wallow in how sad and regretful I am that I have been so negligent of my blog, I'm going to vow to be better at it this year... I want to record our everything from our family milestones to my little projects and small victories (yesterday my big project was unloading the dishwasher, I guess that's how it's going to be with a crawling baby). Here are some pictures from the past two months... I keep up so well on facebook and I want to do the same here!

Brynlee is 9 months old today! She is waving, clapping, high-fiving, crawling, standing with support, pulling up on things, feeding herself, eating small cooked vegs and Cherrios, loving her kitty (and Daddy, Grammie, Poppy, Nana and Papa!), trying to steal my phone at all times, and wanting to cuddle with her Momma. She is so happy and giggly, but definitely has a feisty, stubborn streak in her... the doctor told me at 3 months that I would probably have my hands full with this little diva as she grew, and boy was she right on! I like to think that her sassiness now will turn into confidence and a strong personality as an adult. She truly is my dream come true and I couldn't love being her mommy more.
